Senior Tax Analyst Overview: Our client, a global manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to support U.S. Income tax accounting and reporting functions. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys working with complex, multinational tax structures. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual U.S. Income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 and international reporting standards.
Support global tax reporting by consolidating and communicating U.S. Provision data for corporate reporting.
Maintain accurate documentation of tax attributes including net operating losses, tax credits, and Section 163(j) carryforwards.
Prepare and review international tax computations such as GILTI, FDII, and BEAT for provision and budgeting purposes.
Collaborate with external advisors and internal finance teams to ensure alignment between provision and compliance processes.
Monitor and interpret U.S. Tax law changes and assess their impact on accounting and reporting.
Assist with tax-related disclosures for financial statements and global reporting packages.
Contribute to tax forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for cash taxes and expense management.
Participate in audits, providing documentation and technical guidance as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives utilizing ONESOURCE, SAP, and related technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master s in Taxation or CPA preferred).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in U.S. Income tax provision and compliance experience in a multinational environment or public accounting is preferred.
Strong technical expertise in ASC 740, U.S. Federal and state tax regulations, and corporate tax reporting.
Proficiency with ONESOURCE Tax Provision and SAP is highly desirable.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
