Job Description
Overview:
Reporting to Chief Operations Officer, this high-energy, hands-on business support position is responsible for establishing systems and processes to ensure all products are manufactured and tested in accordance with established quality standards. As the Senior Quality Executive, this position interacts with customer/supplier quality and engineering representatives, and the Company s New Business Development, Sales, Process Development Engineering, and Production to ensure adequate resources and controls are put in place to achieve/maintain quality system certifications and quality metrics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Senior Quality Executive, this position interacts with customer/supplier quality and engineering representatives, and the Company s New Business Development, Sales, Process Development Engineering, and Production to ensure adequate resources and controls are put in place to achieve/maintain quality system certifications and quality metrics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a tactical ISO/TS quality system that achieves customer compliance within an agreed annual budget and is aligned with the annual production requirements/new business development/sales growth plans.
- Develop, gain approval, and execute plans for quality equipment expenditures in support of current and future production requirements.
- Assure compliance with ISO9001/TS 16949 quality standards and registration requirements.
- Direct and evaluate the work of the quality assurance staff.
- Conduct investigations of quality issues and areas of non-compliance and maintain documents for all corrective and preventative actions.
- Provide quality oversight to all phases of internal production and manage quality and product performance at all suppliers.
- Reviews and approves production and process control documents that are drafted by subordinates and/or other departments.
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and execution of company Quality policies, procedures, and processes.
- Support other departments in handling customer issues, questions and concerns.
- BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or similar technical degree.
- Prefer ASQ Certification
- Prefer Six Sigma/Black Belt Certification

- Proficient PC skills for MS Office Suite and management dashboards.
- Effective, positive verbal and written communication skills.
- Practical problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated skills in building Quality into Production Processes.
- Demonstrated skills in preparing for and leading compliance audits, PFEMA s, ISIR s, and preparing post-audit responses.
- Working knowledge;metal component forming, machining, and mechanical gauge design, analysis, and calibration.
- Experience with ISO 9001/TS-16949 quality standards.
- Experience with ERP/MRP automated quality systems.
- Ability to read, understand mechanical component blueprints.
- Experience with PPAP, ISIR, FMEA, PCP, and statistical analysis tools
- PPM and Cost of Quality
- PFMEA process walks
- Proven ability to develop and implement a tactical quality system plan that delivers system compliance to customer and internal audit metrics.
- Proven ability to identify, hire, retain, train, and motivate a quality management team to accomplish agreed upon objectives.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of people from the manufacturing floor to the board room.
- Proven ability to encourage and motivate employee engagement.
- 5+ years experience in progressively more responsible manufacturing and/or quality engineering positions.
- Experience with direct supervision of personnel would be preferred
- PPAP and PFMEA experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- ISO9001/TS 16949 quality system implementation.
- Proven experience building quality into production processes/systems.
- Automotive Experience
