Job Summary: The Inside Sales Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while supporting the sales team. This position involves handling inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong technical understanding of our products, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Engagement:
    • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
    • Educate customers on product specifications, features, and benefits to assist in their decision-making process.
    • Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  2. Order Processing:
    • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
    • Monitor order status and provide updates to customers as needed.
  3. Product Knowledge:
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product line, including custom fabricated hoses, valves, fittings, and related products.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
    • Mechanical or industrial equipment aptitude/knowledge required for this role
  4. Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products.
    • Assist in preparing and sending quotes to customers.
    • Provide input on customer preferences, needs, and market trends to enhance sales strategies.
  5. Issue Resolution:
    • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, working closely with relevant departments to find solutions.
    • Proactively identify potential problems and implement preventative measures.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical understanding of hoses, valves, fittings, or similar industrial products preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
