Job Description
Seeking a Control Technician in Carrollton, TX.
Schedule:
Responsible for the manufacturing and packaging equipment and requires strong mechanical skills including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyor systems, and PLC usage

Schedule:
- Sunday to Tuesday from 6 am to 6 pm and Wednesday from 6 am to 12 pm.
Responsible for the manufacturing and packaging equipment and requires strong mechanical skills including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyor systems, and PLC usage
Core duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in and direct troubleshooting activities in the event of equipment failure including failure analysis, problem-solving, and prevention
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and program PLCs (Allen Bradley Studio 5000).
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Fanuc robotic systems.
- Utilize CAD system to maintain system drawings.
Skills and experience:
- Allen Bradley PLCs, 500 and 5000 software platforms: 5 years (Preferred)
- Must have the ability to replace, install and program AB Powerflex VFDs.
- Candidate should have the ability to replace Panel View HMIs and download applications utilizing FactoryTalk Studio.
- Experience with servo drives, motors, and control components
- Understands symbols on P&ID s and tag references online layout drawing.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Working knowledge of statistical process control methodologies.
- Working knowledge of reading electrical schematics and prints.
- Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards.
- Must have at least 3 years of troubleshooting electrical controls while utilizing a multimeter from 480 volts AC to 24 VDC.
