Job Description
The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Night Shift Production Supervisor will oversee the activities of all team members involved in the manufacturing of cookie products and equipment on the shift. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will work with a team consisting of Lead Persons, Machine Operators, Packers, and a utility person.
Supervise and coordinate all manufacturing activities to meet or exceed product output standards while minimizing scrap and adhering to quality standards.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure compliance with process controls and final product quality.
Prepare daily shift reports detailing production and manpower statistics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Train new plant employees on job duties and plant rules, ensuring smooth operations during absences or high production periods.
Make recommendations for procedure and equipment modifications to improve facility productivity.
Address immediate personnel issues, provide first aid as needed, and demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Key Duties and Requirements:
Education: Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
Related Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of Food Plant experience, with experience in 3rd Party Audits and Hazardous Materials handling.
Supervisory Experience: Recent experience supervising crews of up to 40 co-workers.
Technical Skills: Ability to work Night Shift M-F (6: 00 PM - 6: 00 AM) stand or walk for extended periods, and demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluency in English, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Utilize manpower effectively to meet company standards and reduce overtime costs.
Ensure proper maintenance of production equipment to prevent downtime and excessive scrap.
Maintain accurate and timely production reports and adhere to quality and safety standards.
