The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of production equipment. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Job Responsibilities:
The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of production equipment. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, mechanical systems, and electrical systems
- Ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely
- Conduct preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with production team to understand equipment requirements and ensure continuous production flow
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and make recommendations for stock replenishment
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, adjustments, and replacements
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist in equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning
- Provide technical support to production team as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in production maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of safety procedures and protocols
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or beverage production environment
- Experience with food or beverage processing equipment
- Knowledge of PLC systems and electrical controls
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
