Job Description
The Night Shift Industrial Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities during the night shift. Their primary focus will be to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the company's facilities.Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and on time.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to schedule repairs, maintenance services, and equipment installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and enforce maintenance procedures and standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Monitor and control maintenance expenses within the assigned budget.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance techniques.
- Proven leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- 3+ years of experience in Industrial maintenance or a related role.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Experience with budgeting and expense management.
