TOur client is currently seeking 8 Maintenance Mechanics to join our team at our bakery in Orlando, Florida. As a Maintenance Mechanic, your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery equipment and machinery. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of production equipment, including but not limited to conveyor systems, ovens, mixers, and packaging machinery.

TOur client is currently seeking 8 Maintenance Mechanics to join our team at our bakery in Orlando, Florida. As a Maintenance Mechanic, your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery equipment and machinery. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of production equipment, including but not limited to conveyor systems, ovens, mixers, and packaging machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Detect and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment, and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustment of equipment
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Provide guidance and support to production operators regarding equipment operation and maintenance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good understanding of safety procedures and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment
- Experience working with PLC systems
- Previous experience in the maintenance of conveyor systems, ovens, mixers, and packaging machinery
